Veterans Assistance Program

Our veterans program allows us to act as direct liaisons for those who struggle with finding or obtaining multiple services and resources. We aim to provide safe environments for veterans who may be homeless, without family, unable to access monetary benefits, formerly incarcerated, returning home from the military, and for those who are seeking work, food, supplies and overall stability.

True Heart wholeheartedly believes in taking care of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice to this country. Their contribution should be rewarded with an unlimited amount of aid until the end whether is offering them aid or pointing them in the right direction of those who can assist them.

 

We understand the mental and physical burdens returning home from war can have on an individual. Many soldiers return home with the essentials they need, while others are mentally stuck in battle and are unable to move forward. We strive to strengthen men and women veterans who have risked their lives for our country by helping them to regain their dignity, live proudly despite the discomfort they have faced, so they can achieve new levels of success without bias or prejudice.

True Heart Resources for Veterans

At minimum, our organization provides transportation to necessary appointments, assistance with housing, clothing, food and supplies. Our mission is enhanced through intentional partnerships by finding direct certified coaches throughout the community who then assist our participants with scheduling appointments for resources they otherwise would not have access to. True Heart Inc. does not rely on our social presence alone to attract participates into our programs.

 

Our presence is recognized daily as we host registration drives in local neighborhoods to meet with potential clients as well as members of other organizations to inform them of what True Heart Inc. provides. This then allows us to have vital one on one, and face-to-face conversations with those who need our services most. These activities also afford us stronger personal connections and builds trust within our communities. We believe in better impact when participants are able to put faces to our organization.
